The difference between Lycra cotton and cotton

1. The ratio of pure cotton is 100% cotton fabric, but the ratio of Lycra cotton is 10% or 5% Lycra (a kind of elastic fiber, the scientific name is spandex) + 90% or 95% cotton. Lycra cotton can be stretched 4 to 7 times freely, and after the external force is released, it quickly returns to its original length, and its elasticity is better than that of pure cotton. However, it cannot be used alone and can be interwoven with any other artificial or natural fiber.

2. Lycra has outstanding stretchability. For knitwear, its multi-directional extension is determined by the fabric itself. Leica brings only the elasticity of stretching and recovery. The clothing made of Lycra cotton has no sense of urgency and can stretch freely. However, the resilience of pure cotton is not as good as Lycra cotton, but it is softer than Lycra cotton, and the cotton fabric is easily deformed.

3. Pure cotton fabric has good moisture absorption, moisture retention, heat resistance, alkali resistance and hygiene. The fabric is in contact with the skin without any stimulation, and has no negative effect. It is beneficial to the human body for a long time. However, Lycra cotton lycra differs from most spandex yarns in that it has a special chemical structure that does not grow mildew in a hot and humid sealed space after wet water.
